BUCKWHEAT: These zafus are filled with 4.75 pounds of buckwheat hulls. Our buckwheat has been carefully sourced from right here in the U.S from an industry leader. Buckwheat is a great filling medium as it can be easily adjusted in the cushion to meet your support and comfort. Buckwheat is also very durable and lightweight.

as good as the photo
this is a great good quality pillow which I actually use to play guitar sitting cross legged on the floor. It does not sink and prevents my guitar from hitting the wood floor. It’s also great for maintaining great posture.

Very good zafu, with some considerations
It’s at least as tall as my current kapok zafu and even firmer. Stuffed to the brim with buckwheat shells, apparently.It’s OK for shorter sessions, say a half-hour or less, but not so much for longer; my kapok z. is a bit more forgiving for the forty-five minute plus sessions.Pluses are a fair price and a zippers to remove the cover and to add/remove buckwheat shells.If you want a tall, firm, b/w z. this is worth a look.

This is a very firm cushion that helps with sitting on the floor. I was able to pull some of the stuffing out to make it very comfortable for me to sit for longer period of time. Lovely color

I love the firmness of the cushion. It’s firm without hurting. It molded nice to my backside without giving in and gave great support.I transitioned from a BlueLotus cushion, which I could never sit comfortably with. I tried adding buckwheat hulls to it, but it never gave me the support that I needed.I love my sits so I thought I would try getting a new cushion. I’m glad I did. Today I sat for an easy 40 minutes, where on my old cushion 40 minutes would have been pretty painful. I’m excited as the new cushion has assisted me with really getting into my sits again.

Ayuda a mantener una postura erguida en la meditación y resulta muy cómodo para las piernas y cadera. La calidad parece ser excelente. El tener una funda interior con el relleno hace que sea fácil lavar la funda externa. Tengo pocos días de usarlo, pero hasta ahora estoy muy satisfecha.
