The best mascara for the price
This is my favorite drugstore mascara. I have stubbornly straight, average length, and sparse lashes, so I usually take anything and everything that works. I wear makeup almost every day, so I’ve really narrowed down what’s worth my money. The only other mascara that I would rank above this one is the Diorshow Waterproof Mascara, HOWEVER I’m not willing to drop $25+ 3 times a year (4 months is the average lifespan of my mascaras) for tubes of black stuff. For under $10, this tube is wonderful. I must always use a drier waterproof formula to hold any bit of curl that I put on my lashes. This one does it perfectly for me. Everyone to whom I’ve recommended this mascara now swears by it, too! After I curl my lashes, I put a few coats of this mascara and it holds well, dries fairly quickly, and volumizes my lashes. Initially, the mascara is a bit more tacky and you’ll need to scrape some mascara goo (I don’t know the exact name of it) off before using it. It’s the same toward the end, too, the goo tends to clump on the wand because there’s not much left, so you’ll need to do a bit of scraping. After every few uses, I scrape off the entire wand to prevent the goo from drying and flaking… if you’re having flaky clumps this is the reason!!! Clean that crap up and you’ll be good to go. One thing I would recommend is using an oil-based makeup remover to take off this makeup. DO NOT USE WIPES. DO NOT USE YOUR TWO-IN-ONE MAKEUP REMOVER/CLEANSER. You will damage your eye skin, lashes, and still have makeup leftover. Please do yourself a favor and get a decent makeup remover if you’re going to use this or else don’t blame the mascara for doing exactly what it’s supposed to do… staying on your lashes. If you have sad stubborn lashes like mine, get this mascara!

Looking on my past history I have bought mascara 3x from Amazon, but never the same kind twice. I don’t wear makeup often so I tend to look for the cheapest brand. The brands I tried so far I had gotten off of an article about the 10 “best” drugstore brands. So far none of them were that great. They all smudged like immediately, giving me raccoon eyes. I might expect that from eye shadow or eye liner, but I find it disappointing to get black flakes and crumbs under my eyes from mascara.The biggest frustration for me is that I KNOW inexpensive good mascara does exist because once upon a time I grabbed a tube as an impulse item right by the cashier at a clothing store – and that unbranded mascara was the best ever. I used it for years, even though you’re not supposed to. When it finally dried up I started buying off of Amazon about one every other year or every three years because I really don’t wear make up very often.After 3 strikes I decided to finally spend a little more on my project so I bought this stuff. I will say it doesn’t smudge or flake as much as the $4-$5 brands have. It makes my regular eyelashes look slightly darker, dark enough to notice on a “Zoom” call. Which is pretty much what I need it for. It isn’t too clumpy. The change is not dramatic, if that is what you are looking for, My lashes do not look longer nor fuller, simply darker and more noticeable. And it doesn’t cause black circles under my eyes. This product would be perfect if it were just a little but less expensive.

This mascara is fantastic for bold, full lashes! It adds great volume without clumping and holds a curl all day. The brush coats every lash evenly, and the formula is long-lasting yet easy to remove at the end of the day. A reliable, affordable favorite for any makeup routine!

Adds volume and clumps
After using this mascara several times, I have formed a neutral opinion about it. Although it has a tendency to clump, it provides satisfactory volume and length. Its durability is impressive, lasting 24 hours, and it is easily removable. I also appreciate its waterproof and sweat-resistant features, as well as its gentle, non-irritating formula. Considering the price, it offers good value.

Es una mascara de pestañas a prueba de agua para las que no les aguanta el rizo. Es super negra y da mucho volumen aunque no mucho largo. Pareciera que tienes más pestañas de las que en realidad tienes. No la venden en México en su versión extra negra carbón black. Así que gracias Amazon!
