Great colors if you’re pale/cool-toned. The powder almost feels creamy. Not highly pigmented but very natural looking. It stays on almost all day.

Greatest matte eye shadow on the market
Love these shadows for the price! But especially for the fact that they are matte—-I’ve learned aging eyes should never use a shimmery eye shadow. Matte is much softer and forgiving. This is the only eye shadow I’ll ever use (I hope they never discontinue it!)

The colors are nice, but the dark brown is not dark brown it’s gray
I thought the darker shade was a dark brown but it’s more like a gray. The colors are OK but I specifically ordered this for the dark brown not worth sending back. The other colors are nice.

I had issues with this in the past. I’ve ordered it four times. The first one showed up at my door in crumbles because apparently the box or package was brutalized on the way. SO i had to order a new one. I loved it. Great shadows, good coverage, nice matte finish. Once used, I ordered a new one. Had a weird green color in it instead of the beautiful taupes, so I just ordered another because I thought for sure they shipped me the wrong item, and got the same thing. So I just used it. It turns out that they knew what they were doing. I missed the missing color, this is STILL the best colored shadow I own for my cool skin tones. I was upset about the green color swap out- not matching the photo, but I finally also used it – as a soft shadow under-eye, and it is light, not heavily visible, and matches my green eyes perfectly! If you have pale, cool colored skin, this is the best pallette, hands- down for accentuating eyes, in a very subtle way. I would like it to have more staying power to be able to give it 5 stars…

The palettes have 5 beautiful matte shades eacch. I bought 2 palettes as part of an add-on deal. I did not get to choose the colour of the 2nd palette and assumed it would be 2 of the same colour, but I received a different palette completely. It was actually a palette I had added to my wishlist, so part of me wonders if this played a part in the colour chosen or if it was a coincidence.The colours in both palettes (Nude Suede and Purple Cashmere) were nice matte colours that brushed on nicely. I did not use the applicator provided and opted to use my own brushes. They are not the most pigmented colours and I would suggest using a primer underneath for long wear and more noticeable colour. For the price they are great.

Pro’s:Definitely matte shades, which are hard to find. Smooth application. Great price. Arrived intact. Good all day wear (almost the end of the work day and still in place).Con’s:The first two colors (lightest ones) are basically identical on the lid. The middle one is barely pigmented so you can’t really see it much at all. The green shade and nearly black shade have more pigment, but still less than you would expect.In the end, although the price was alluring, I probably would have / should have passed on this deal. For the two colors that actually have ‘color’ to them, it wasn’t really worth it.
