Excellent scale
I just received my new scale. Per my doctors recommendation throughout my weight loss journey. It was suggested to purchase this particular scale because of the ease of use and ability to track weights, BMI, fat water, content, muscle bone, content, etc. the scale came packaged beautifully to protect the glass scale. The package also included QR codes to scan for Mattel, as well as linking to the scale app. Extremely easy to set up and register and couple the scale to the app. Aunt, after weighing myself, I had a full reading of my current statistics. this is my third scale one I had absolute difficulty not only understanding what the readings were. It was hard to read and did not seem very accurate. The second one would not link up properly to my phone and I have the latest Apple phone so it clearly was a scale. This one is excellent with large numbers easy to read you can choose metric system if you like as well. Interestingly, there is also an additional athletic mode which they explained to you would be based on high-performance athletes to give a different calibration to the scale. I think this is a huge bonus for a beginner like myself or someone who is , a sports enthusiast or even an athlete because of the multiple features, the scale offers. For an excellent price point I might add.

Good Scale That Looks Great Too.
As one continues to add on the number of years in age, I find that it is easy to put on weight without knowing if you don’t monitor regularly. This is my second FITINDEX Scale because someone “borrowed” my first one. The scale is accurate and is easy to set up with the FITINDEX App on my phone. After creating you account on the APP and connecting to your scale, it stores your history of:Weight, BMI, Body Fat, Fat-Free Body Weight, Subcutaneous Fat, Visceral Fat, Body Water, Skeletal Muscle, Muscle Mass, Bone Mass, Protein, BMR, and Metabolic Age.The trick is to weight yourself first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom so that you can have some consistency in measurements. Although your weight might go up and down daily, you will quickly be able to notice a trend and make corrections to your diet and/or exercise accordingly to maintain your health goals.This scale has been a major part of my fitness routine and I even travel with it. Highly recommended.

INACCURATE/NO MEASUREMENTS
I had a fitindex scale for the last 5 years and mone finally died. I replaced it with this one, with the extra hand held bmi reader, and the results at first refused to ready any body fat, the connection seemed to not be able to read fat, and kept sayong there were no body fat readings, and now the results have come back totally skewed once it finally did connect and get a reading through.These images that the app now includes, says that I have high muscle in my upper body and low muscle in my lower body. I live inside my body, regularly have to depend on my level of strength, and I can attest that I have VERY LOW upper body muscle/strength vs my lower body. My legs and core have always been the strongest part of me, even before I had spinal fusion surgeries that severed muscles in my back and upper body, further enforcing my opinion that this scale is reading inaccurately. Idk if fitindex is just 100% garbage quality now or what. I have already set up the return for it. But I will give it a few more weigh ins to see if the data shifts at all. The basic fitindex scaled without the handheld bmi reader is the one I had for years. I do not know if the new version of the basic is as good as my old one was, but if this new fancier version w handle doesn’t straighten up, I will be trying the basic version again. and then if that does not measure up to the old models ability, I will be getting a new brand entirely.
